AERIAL APPLICATION
Some of what we offer for aerial spraying operations.
Calibration.
We check all of the aircraft’s spray system, including pressure gauge and suck-back to make sure that all the components are working as intended. This all helps to control the quality of the resultant application and reduces the chance of drift. Comply with your certification requirements for periodic calibration by an independent expert. Nobody does it more thoroughly than us.
Swath Pattern testing.
Ideal swath width, coverage, droplet size, droplet count and deposit amount are all measured simultaneously by our computerized analysis of sample papers. This is portable equipment which can be used on-site to give a quick and accurate diagnosis of the aircraft’s spray pattern. We can also measure the spray vertically from the top of the plant to the soil to show how much gets to those difficult to reach places and what the optimum droplet size is for different parts of the plant.
Drift measurement
Drift is an increasingly important issue. We use internationally recognized protocols and specific tracers to measure where the spray ends up and exactly how much, either in the crop or outside at different distances as drift.
Mixing Station Design
Material handling and product stewardship are major interests for us. We design closed measurement and mixing systems that are clean, safe, fast and efficient. Our designs are in use in many dozens of airstrips.
Airstrip audit
With our wide experience in the aerial application industry, a popular service that we provide is an inspection of airstrip facilities for compliance with regulations concerning storage and handling of agrochemicals, aviation fuel, wastewater and the use of personal protective equipment.
